It was called 12 Lovely Months of Polish. The idea behind it was that each person would have their birth month and the other ladies in the group would each send packages for each birth month recipient, working off the Wish List of that person.
Here we are, a year later…after many polishes sent and received, I can’t believe we’ve come to an end. These lovely ladies became my confidants and my friends. I got to know them better (rather than just buying their products or reading their blogs!) and I feel like they’ve enriched my life with their unbridled joy of listening to me and also sending out packages that can make a bad day so very good!
I wanted to thank the girls individually and give them a little piece of me…and each of the girls will be receiving a little something in the mail – except for my Secret Santa who gets a little more extra something something!
I included this letter which explained the colors and the choices…I think I forgot to put the letter in one of the packages, but I don’t remember whose package exactly because that is what I get for putting boxes together at 2am!
December 2013
Dearest lovely ladies of 12 Lovely Months,
It has, literally, been a wonderful 12 Lovely Months of polish and getting to know you all. I wanted to say thank you in the only way I could think of and in a way that we can all understand as well as love – nail polish! There are three (3) bottles and I am praying they didn’t get broken in transit.

Lavender is one of my favorite colors. I’ve been dreaming of a greyed out lavender with a strong linear holo.

I wanted lavender again, but Amy suggested 2 colors that were close to lavender…they were also colors that I happened to love. The base for this color is Pantone 7452 C, which is a color that is extremely close to the lavender/purple on my blog. I requested white skull and cross bone glitter as well as grey matte glitter to have it all tie into my blog’s colors and theme. I think she’s captured it pretty well! For some inexplicable reason, I fell in love with this polish – truly, madly, deeply, irrevocably in love. There is something about this turquoise blue that brings out a level of happy in me and I sincerely hope it does the same for you! It never fails to cheer me up.
I hope you all enjoy the polish. While I know the colors aren’t quite the cup of tea for some of you, I wanted to give you all a tiny bit of me…with some help from some fabulous Indie makers.
I am sending you all happy thoughts, bright blessings and lots of love for the holidays and the upcoming new year. Don’t hesitate to drop me a line – even if it’s just to say hello – carina at carinaeletoile dot com .
