4th of July Mani

This 4th of July mani was supposed to be clouds and all super holographic. Le sigh~

Totally failed.

First and foremost, I’ve got to say happy anniversary to my husband – aka Happy Avvinersary….occasions…If you watch Saturday Night Live, you might get the reference.

It’s been fifteen years since we’ve been married and sometimes, it feels like it’s been 150 years. I wouldn’t change it for the world and I am eternally grateful to have found him. There are times when it has been trying – for both him and myself, but for the most part, we’ve been in accord for many things and that has lead to, for the most part, harmony.

This mani is for him and the country he now calls home – the USA.

The colors used were Cirque’s Vesuvius (red) and Bejeweled (blue). The white was Cult Nails Tempest and the glitter was Lynnderella Shape Shifter. Bummer you couldn’t see the crazy holographic polish that came into play with Vesuvius and Bejeweled. However, you will be able to see them when I feature them next week. Maybe this weekend if I have a chance to process them! They truly are beauties to behold.

I’m a bit bummed that after I applied my top coat, the Vesuvius ran into Tempest…I felt like it ruined my 4th of July mani.

As always, please right click on the image and choose Open In New Tab. When in the new tab, click on the image (it will triple in size!) to view the photo in its original size.
