KB Shimmer Excuse Me, I Blurpled is described on the KB Shimmer site as “is our newest jelly polish. It is a unique shade, almost navy, but with purple undertones, its almost indigo. Depending on the light, this shade can lean blue, but all in all, it is a really a hard shade to pin down. To this jelly, we added glitters in many shades of blue, purple, and added a dash of copper. Best in two coats.”
I’ll be honest, KB Shimmer Excuse Me, I Blurpled doesn’t feel like a jelly at all. Crelly, yes; jelly, no.
I loved that I did three coats of this and it dried quickly. No bubbling, either. Loved this – it’s a flattering to my skin tone. On me, it looks more blue than purple.

Someone asked me why I don’t use a light box – I’ll be honest: I don’t think light boxes truly reflect what a color is like in real life. While I think a light box can get you prettier, edgier shots of a polish, I don’t think it’s very realistic. So while my images may not be as richly saturated with jewel tones or deep hues, you are getting a real-life look at the polish in action.
I do, however, own a lightbox…and maybe one day you may see me using it! Until then…
