China Glaze Cast a Spell v China Glaze Wagon Trail

I keep forgetting to swatch the Halloween 2012 collection from China Glaze. You can see it almost everywhere and I thought I’d do a bit of a twist on it…I thought I’d compare China Glaze Cast a Spell and China Glaze Wagon Trail. I read in one of my nail polish groups on Facebook that China Glaze Cast a Spell and China Glaze Wagon Trail are similar/dupes.

I had even heard that China Glaze Cast a Spell is really China Glaze Wagon Trail amped up. I could see why people said that. On a small side note rave, I have to say that Wagon Trail really is GORGEOUS. I had forgotten how truly gorgeous she is. I found 2 back-ups of this color — clearly the polish hoarder in me of 3+ years ago hasn’t changed…I actually got a back-up of China Glaze Cast a Spell. *cough* I may have to procure another one…Not that you read that confession here or anything. Nooo.

Ok, rave over…

China Glaze Cast a Spell is a great formula – opaque in two medium coats. It dried nice and dirty quick, too! I usually wait about five minutes between coats and this time I painted all my fingers and came back around, knowing full well that five minutes hadn’t passed. Second coat done and I just slapped on some lovely Poshe top coat and was good to go. No bubbling under, no tip shrinkage. This was truly the fastest manicure I had ever done. I was literally done in fifteen minutes.

As always, please click the image to see it in its full size glory – right click and then select “Open in New Tab” or “Open In New Window”. If you hover your mouse over the photo, the mouse pointer may turn into a magnifying glass with a plus in it. Click on the picture and BAM! original size photo is original size just for you! You can see the glitter and shimmer of both colors in the full size picture.

If you liked what you read, please click Like at the bottom! I’d greatly appreciate it.

Thanks for stopping by.
