JLo, Katy Perry…just to name a couple of gals who sported it. While I was tempted to raid my mother’s lace stash, I found a drugstore brand that gave the look that I sought, but without the fuss and muss. I’m fairly sure that once you see the pictures you know the brand. I said I’d never feature products that test on animals…so here I am again, being a hypocrite. 🙁 However, I’m not mentioning the name. Does that count?! No, I don’t think it does. Stupid companies that test on animals that put things out that make things that best represent the visions in my head.
I put these on a couple of days ago and bleh…the tip wear! It was my first time applying them, so I was leaving myself some slacker tendencies because I wasn’t sure how application would go. It wasn’t so bad and the instructions were easy to follow.
I liked how this looked because if I were to actually do a lace mani, I’d choose a beige-y metallic base and black lace. I like that this looks infinitely cleaner than my actual attempt (if I attempted it!).
Feel free to click on the images to enlarge them to their original size.
I sort of feel like I’ve cheated again, but this best represents my favorite celebrity manicure…and it looks much much better than if I had done it myself.
These are the girls I am doing the challenge with – I hope you see what they’ve created!
