Pretty & Polished Back to the Fuchsia

Pretty & Polished Back to the Fuchsia was part of a monthly subscription box.

The subscription box came out back in July 2015 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the movie Back to the Future. What surprised me about Pretty & Polished Back to the Fuchsia is the fact it’s a thermal. I was so not expecting it. I put it on and thought, “It’s a very pretty shade of a pink with lavender tones…” completely failing to see where fuchsia came into play. I wore it for an hour and the air conditioning just happened to kick in, making me completely cold. Then I saw it. At first I wondered what was going on, then realized it’s a thermal. Duh. It was like a ninja thermal hidden in plain sight.

I didn’t care. I loved it. Now the formula for Pretty & Polished Back to the Fuchsia was good – opaque in two coats and somewhat fast drying. I definitely love the formula for this particular brand and I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase anything from their core line of polishes.

If you can get your hand on this polish from someone’s destash, I’d say go for it since it looks like it isn’t on the site. I would drop by and take a peek at what Pretty & Polished has going on and would definitely sign up for a subscription box if you happen to have the opportunity to do so.

On to the pictures.

I LOVE THIS. I love the sneaky glitters that only pop out when the thermal effect kicks in. Utter genius.

Right? I remember thinking, “This glitter during thermal change…GENIUS!” It’s also why I don’t make polishes. I’m not creative enough to think of things like this.
