OMG Nail Strips

OMG Nail Strips Sherlock was sent to me for an honest review.

…and honest review it shall be!

One of the biggest issues I’ve always had with nail strips is that they’re almost always too big for my nail beds and these are no exception. Another issue I’ve had with nail strips in general is that they don’t last a long time on my nails.

I’m happy to say that these had a nice long life on my nails until last Tuesday night when I had to remove them for an operation the next day. I was so bummed when I had to do that. Removal was a bit gummy…like other nail strips. It’s to be expected.

OMG Nail Strips are really fun and I think I’d be making my own purchase soon – it’s definitely worth it. You can see the Nail Polish Strips here.

OMG Nail StripsHow cute are these? The checkerboard thing really had a whole early 90s flashback for me with the old No Doubt logo. That’s a good thing! While the images don’t necessarily remind me of Sherlock per se, these are so well executed in the hint of it, I can overlook that. If anything, these are super cute!

I’m definitely digging these! Even Mr Carinae had something positive to say about the OMG Nail Strips Sherlock! Wonders will never cease…

Someone asked me why I don’t use a light box – I’ll be honest: I don’t think light boxes truly reflect what a color is like in real life. While I think a light box can get you prettier, edgier shots of a polish, I don’t think it’s very realistic. So while my images may not be as richly saturated with jewel tones or deep hues, you are getting a real-life look at the polish in action.

Thank you for making it this far. If you liked what you read, please share this – sharing is caring!

À bientôt!

xoxo
