I actually do not agree with that assessment. I say it’s this dark mint creme. If Zoya Josie were a true grass green, wouldn’t this be darker? I think so!
I know I’ve waxed lyrical about Zoya polish – the color, the application and whatever else I could think of at the time. Once again, this holds true. Honestly, over the years of my polish collecting, Zoya has never failed me. Sure, I haven’t been a fan of some colors, but that was mostly due to the colors not being flattering on me. I’ve been hard pressed to find bottles of Zoya where a bottle has had a wonky brush or the formula did not deliver.
Zoya Josie held true to what I love about Zoya products: it was a gorgeous creme finish, it dried in record time and I needed to do only two medium coats to get the opacity you see in the photos.
Zoya Josie is more of a darker mint creme with the kind of undertones that flattered my skin coloring. That is hard to do and find because usually minty colored greens tend to wash me out or have my skin looking a bit too sallow and sickly for my taste. No such thing here.
Quick note: Accent nail is Zoya Rikki, which will be featured tomorrow.
