It looked so intriguing and I didn’t think to google swatches of this color…until after I had hit purchase. DOH!
This is a gorgeous glass-flecked nail polish. Green-yellow-gold flecks in a black-based creme. It appears to be somewhat green, but you can tell it’s black-based. Sadly, the formula was a bit lacking for me – it applied unevenly and tended to dry a little on the slow side, which was extremely frustrating. It was also a bit thick and gloopy, which was probably what accounted for the mega slow drying time.
Although this is a gorgeous color, it’s not like BB Couture’s Glampyre or Butter London’s Wallis. However, this is something that is very been there, done that, have the shirt already! I dislike writing that, but it’s what I feel.
Oh well…anyway…

Beautiful gorgeous macro of Dolce & Gabbana Stromboli
The shade shot of the bottle looks better than the polish does on my nails. Maybe that’s just me.
For some reason, this flash shot is appealing to me.
Sunlight washes out the glitter, but for the most part I’ve found this to be a fairly mellow color, despite its appearance in the bottle. Doesn’t it look like it would just blow you away once on the nail?
Long story short – it’s a pretty color, but it’s one that has been seen several times over.
