NARS 15 Minutes

Nars 15 Minutes is this lovely, soft, buttery color…

…that really didn’t look so wonderful on me. I was so sad. I’ve been on the hunt for a yellow that echoes Chanel Mimosa. I was hoping this would be kinder and less BAM version. It’s not. There is no shimmer. It’s a flat out creme.

It’s also chalky and streaky and you can see it if you enlarge the pictures. Formula took a while to dry. I was a bit disappointed over all because usually Nars has good coverage and their formulas rock. Luckily, the other color I swatched and will feature tomorrow lived up to the regular Nars expectancy.

I found this color to be a bit lighter than what I was hoping it would be. However, that said, I did find I liked it on me. It was a little bright and in some light, it looked like I had glued some pastel skittles to my fingers. But it was ok. I asked hubby if he liked the color. He said no. 🙁 Man, this color gets no love. My cat looked at the color and hissed at my nails. Seriously. No love.
