Zoya’s Kristi is from Zoya’s Fall 2010 Collection, Wonderful. Kristi is a wonderful blue based red. Not quite true red and not blood, but a good mix of red, hint of orange and strong tinge of blue. This looked absolutely wonderful on me! I just may very well end up wearing this shade for the weekend…Hm…
Zoya – Robyn (Summer 2010 – Flash Collection)
Friday, 13 August, 2010Maybe I’m getting ballsy in my old age. 😉
Formula: Again, great application. I rarely have problems with Zoya and when/if I do it’s so minor I have a fierce internal debate with whether I should mention it or not because the flaw is usually by my hand (literally). As you can see on my ring finger, there is some nail peeking through…again, that’s me and my heavy handed application. 😀
OPI Flutter Collection (Part I)- Wing It! and Catch Me In Your Net / Zoya – Charla – Summer 2010
Sunday, 6 June, 2010So the first color I’m showing is called Wing It!
I’m not a fan of this shade. It’s a bit too sheer for my taste…to make matters worse, I feel this pink is a bit too youthful for me. Like Fairy Princess kind of pink for a little girl. What may camera failed to capture was the pretty iridescence of the glitter. It’s actually prettier than the actual base color! So while I was disappointed in this color, it was a bit too pink/too close to coral for my taste.
Look carefully at this color…isn’t it gorgeous? It is, isn’t it? Scroll down for the reality.

So here we are…literally dupes. You can’t see how gorgeous this (these) color(s) is(are) – it’s like mermaid scales. There is a slight green shimmer and gold glitter that runs through it. Absolutely gorgeous. What a pity that it’s a total dupe of Zoya’s Charla. So…surprise! If you weren’t able to get a hold of Charla, grab OPI’s Catch Me In Your Net.
Heck, here are the ding dang bottle shots!
The formula on this was runny and hard to work with. Both of the colors above were 2 coaters.
Zoya – Alegra – Sparkle Collection, summer 2010
Wednesday, 19 May, 2010Zoya – Nidhi and Gilda – Sparkle Collection, Summer 2010
Tuesday, 18 May, 2010The last two I have to show. The sun washed out the colors, but some of the shade shots turned out decently. Nidhi’s incandescent lighting shot turned out beautifully.
See below. 🙂
Raspberry in color, it’s not a shade that looks good on me. I think the shade shot brought the good part of the polish out, but it wasn’t enough to convince me that I would like it enough to wear it on my nails during the summer.
See how gorgeous this color was until the sun hit it? Ugh. I’ll fix it, though. I look forward to wearing it a lot this summer.
It was a pain in the butt trying to take a pic of that color wheel and I realized I should’ve broken it up into 4 separate parts, but I was feeling kind of lazy and I hope that when you click on the pics, they become huge and you can see the difference in the colors.
You’ll find lots of shimmer, creme, a matte and a couple of holographics. Enjoy!

The Promised Green!
What I love about this gorgeous green with a slight yellow undertone is that it has a gorgeous micro glitter that contains more green than gold. One has to literally have it up close and very personal to see it. My camera didn’t do it any justice in capturing the glitter. The very faint yellow in this (heck, it could’ve been the gold micro glitter come to think of it!) wasn’t very strong and didn’t look awful on me. Quite the opposite – it was very flattering! Another stellar choice on my part from BB Couture. This color is from their Men’s Collection. Love it.
Earth Day – 2 Greens – StrangeBeautiful and Rescue Beauty Lounge
Thursday, 22 April, 2010I am showing you two greens – the first is from the StrangeBeautiful Collection Volume I. That was sent to me by my very awesome friend Kelly. Thank you! When we’re in Vegas I definitely owe you several drinks. 🙂 The green from the StrangeBeautiful collection didn’t have a name so I generically called it…green. Hah. Good thing no one’s ever asked me to name a nail polish or anything. The other is a Rescue Beauty Lounge green called Recycle. C’est très àpropos, n’est-ce pas? Oui!
These two colors are 3 free and vegan. Rock on!
Finally, kudos to Zoya for re-instating (however brief it is) their nail polish exchange from April 22, 2010 – June 30, 2010. Take advantage of it! Get rid of your old bottles of polish (except those that fall under the Zoya umbrella!) and Zoya will exchange it for a color of your choice from any of their collections. How freakin’ awesome is that? If you haven’t used Zoya before, I suggest you give this promo a shot – it’s well worth it. I’d suggest going for Ivanka – it’s green, shiny and sparkly which is perfect for your toes or your tips.
Go green, Happy Earth Day, Love Your Mother and all that.
This polish went on like a DREAM. No problems whatsoever in application – 2 extremely light coats. I could’ve actually gotten away with a single coat. It dried quickly, too! I spent about 5 minutes between each coat and each of them dried completely. How awesome is that for girls on the go?
A gorgeous green that really defies most greens for me. The color was awesome, but the formula was a lot easier than my previous bottles of RBL. 2 coats – completely opaque!
I now present you with…

Perfectly Easter without being obnoxious. I love this color. The silvery shimmer running through it keeps it from being a plain old not-quite-pastel blue. Isn’t it just gorgeous? I love it.
