Not a blue for this Monday because the sun is shining…no green, but that’s reserved for the rest of the week.
Essie – Shift Power
Monday, 28 February, 2011Comparison – Essie vs Chanel vs CND
Thursday, 24 February, 2011Don’t be a hater!
Sunday, 16 January, 2011Essie – Hot Cocoa
Wednesday, 22 December, 2010This color was fabulous!! I loved that it was a lovely mushroomy color; it reminds of that Hot Cocoa brown/purple when it’s all hot and steamy in my mug. I think I’m going to have to make some hot chocolate now.
This was a two coat application and I think it would’ve benefited greatly had I done three. I think it would’ve done it much justice. Despite my craptastic applications skills, this color still shines through.
Essie – Going Incognito
Tuesday, 7 December, 2010It dried in record time, which is always a good thing.
I like greens like this because it’s partially festive – it is part of Essie’s Holiday 2010 collection, after all! – and it’s also a color I can wear year round whenever I want a little bit of green in my life. I can add a pretty glitter top top coat, too! I’m thinking a certain NFU Oh will have to make an appearance.
Please pardon the rough look to the nails – I had been wearing this color for a few days to see how it would hold up…and it held up through the dish washing, the toilet scrubbing and all around roughery I put my poor hands through. Just minor tip wear!
Essie – Limited Addiction
Friday, 19 November, 2010Then Chanel’s Rouge Noir (aka Vamp) came along, relegating all my reds to the end of the line.
Lately, I’ve been feeling the need for red again. Like I’m going to seriously binge on red nail polish until I feel I no longer need to wear it again.
That said, I’m wearing Essie’s Limited Addiction in these pictures. LA is part of Essie’s Winter/Holiday 2010 collection. *swoons* I loved how it looked on me – it was lovely and so seductive, but not in a trampy way! Application was flawless – dried quickly and was opaque in two coats, despite my heavy handed application. See for yourself!
