KB Shimmer Radiant Orchid is a color that I loved waaay back in the day, when it was popular and then got associated with a certain decade. Described on the KB Shimmer site as a “pink toned purple with fuchsia and mauve undertones”. That sounds all fancy and a little confusing to me. However, that’s ok because at the end of the day KB Shimmer Radiant Orchid looks fabulous on me! The formula is divine – opaque in two coats and easy to apply. I actually applied it over a white base – don’t ask. I was going to do something, then got distracted and ended up applying KB Shimmer Radiant Orchid on top of the white. It’s ok because it made Radiant Orchid even more pretty than if I had used a regular clear base coat.
Drying time for this polish was rather quick. I sometimes think cremes take longer to dry, but they rarely do. KB Shimmer polishes usually are dry after I finish one hand and start on the next. If it’s not completely dry, I give it another five minutes and then it’s good to go.
Come and see why I fell for this color and why I will be wearing it as much as I can!
Thanks for making it this far – if you liked what you’ve read, please share.
Until next time,
