I know it seems odd to feature this on the 4th of July because many are featuring patriotic manicures. 4th of July is special to my husband and myself. Sixteen years ago, we got married in Hawaii, in the oldest church on the island. Catholic wedding and all that. So while others sport the requisite red, white and blue, I’m showing a glitter whose name has a lot of meaning to me — Candy Lacquer Love You To the Moon & Back. I say that to hubby here and there. I’m a total sap when it comes to him. The thought of life without him makes me super sad and a little depressed. He drives me crazy and likewise, but I can’t imagine going through life without him. He makes me laugh and at the end of the day, it seems I can still surprise him. That’s a good thing, right? We’ve moved and lived all over the world because of his work and if his work made him go to the moon, I’d go to the moon and back with him.
Mr Carinae loves me so much, he’s even taking me out for steak tomorrow night…even though he’s a vegetarian. That’s love, baby! I really appreciate that and all he does for me.
Anyway, on to my non-patriotic swatches that are full of love for Mr Carinae.
Thanks for making it this far…and Happy 16th Avvinersary, Mr Carinae. I love you to the moon and back!
Until next time,
