I’ll be featuring the thermals from the collection today – there are five gorgeous colors with a linear holo or a scattered holo. Be still my foolish, nail polish loving heart. Celestial Cosmetics Game of Thrones Inspired Collection has four other colors that I will feature later on and those are crazy color shifting duochromes. There are a total of nine polishes.
My remarks and review will be after the pictures of each of the polishes are listed.

First and foremost – 2 coats were used, but I think that three would’ve been good, too. I was disappointed that the thermal aspect didn’t show up as strongly as I was hoping it would. Maybe I run a bit too hot, but getting the orange to come out and play was difficult. Even if I dipped it in water, the orange was disappearing faster than I could even get my fingers in front of the camera and take a picture. It was frustrating.
This was also another difficult color to get the thermal to show up. I was finally able to capture it late at night (midnight-ish?) with a cup full of freezing cold water with ice cubes in it. You can see the delicate color change. While pretty, still difficult to deal with. Maybe the bottle I purchased wasn’t up to snuff? Though the thermal aspect was a disappointment, the holographic part was thrilling and very pretty. As you can see in the blurry sunlight shot, it’s a gorgeous holo. Two coats were all I needed of this color to get it to this opacity.
This color, Highgarden, is the first ever color I swatched for the collection…and I fell in LOVE. I thought the rest of the colors would have this strong of a thermal that you see here. I was wrong. However, I love this color – it’s a yellow-green when warm and a deeper, darker green when cold. Two coats and it was opaque. I read that this was a sheer and was best layered! What? It’s perfect as is. Wouldn’t you agree?
Two coats for this silver while warm, charcoal grey while cold thermal HOLO color. It’s gorgeous, isn’t it? I think that this is the shining star. I thought it was Highgarden, but I was wrong. I used three coats for this.
I actually love the warm version of this color so much that I won’t complain about the weakness of the thermal. I had to hold my hand in a glass of freezing cold water, indoors, at midnight-ish to get the tips to change color. However, the base color is so pretty, who needs the thermal?! Also the pretty holo that comes shining through reinforces the prettiness of the cold shade – wouldn’t you agree?
…and PHEW! That’s me done!
What do you think of Celestial Cosmetics Game of Thrones Inspired Collection? Will you be purchasing any of the colors above? I think it’s worth it. While some of the thermals didn’t work for me, I think it will work much better on others who don’t tend to run on the warm side like I do.
