KB Shimmer did a duo for their 5th anniversary celebration and what a lovely duo it is.
KB Shimmer 5th Anniversary Duo is a lovely purple matte shimmer – it’s gorgeous. Whether you keep it matte or slap a high gloss top coat, you will be so very happy with it. It’s a purple with a strong blue undertone and some would call this a blurple, but it isn’t in my eyes. It has a beautiful turquoise shimmer running through it…and you can see it in the photos below. The purple is called The Grape Beyond.
The other half of the KB Shimmer 5th Anniversary Duo is a glitter called Would You Jubilee It? and is a total glitter bomb…gorgeous shiny and completely luxurious as the swatches below will show you.

So much shiny glitter that the macro shot got drowned out.

Shade shot is a bit subdued, but not by much!
Sunlight shot shows the beauty of both polishes together.
Someone asked me why I don’t use a light box – I’ll be honest: I don’t think light boxes truly reflect what a color is like in real life. While I think a light box can get you prettier, edgier shots of a polish, I don’t think it’s very realistic. So while my images may not be as richly saturated with jewel tones or deep hues, you are getting a real-life look at the polish in action.
