This is an image heavy post….You have been warned.
So first and foremost, it’s no secret that Holographic nail polish from any line is a pain in da butt to work with. I’m not kidding. I had mega issues with these. You will see gaping holes in some of the shots. I should’ve purchased some of the Aqua base that was recommended for these polishes, but I didn’t. I would’ve had I seen it in the store. To be honest, I think I missed it in the store because the shelves were pretty high – dang those tall Swedes! Plus, my T-Rex arms could only reach so far. Short stubby Asian girl on tippy toes trying to reach for things on a super high shelf must’ve incited amusement in the salesgirls. I’m here to amuse, thanks!
Anyway, here are some pretty holographics for you to drool over…and if you stick with me until the end, I’ll be sharing some news with you, too! I also STRONGLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO READ IT ALL
Without further delay, I present Make Up Store Holographic nail polish…As always, click the thumbnail to embiggen the picture, which will then take you to another thumbnail to click to embiggen…and that second click should take you to the original size.
Ok, that out of the way…
First up is Greta
Greta – Shade
This is a grey shade that looks almost blue.
Greta – Sunlight
It looks very blue, but I think that’s due to the holographic nature.
Madeleine – Shade
See the ugly gaping hole on my middle finger? Oh the shame. 🙁 This is a bit of a beige shade…At least I think it’s beige. What do you think?
Madeleine – Sunlight
Not a very strong holographic, but it is pretty nonetheless. I found that this particular shade tended to dry matte, which completely surprised me.
Britta – Shade
A very pretty soft raspberry pink. The color is engaging in person because once it gets out into the sun Britta goes vava-voom!
Britta – Sunlight
I love it. Very pretty, don’t you think?
Asun is an extremely light pink/red tinted coat with gorgeous pink and silver glitter throughout. What does it look like?
First, I need to say that the pictures I took of Asun do not do it any justice…It is sparkly and extremely gorgeous with hexagonal glitter. The swatch above I did when I was in Sweden, but I will be re-swatching so you can see how gorgeous it really is. For some reason, my camera freaks out on pinks and reds. I hate it when that happens
Keep your eyes peeled because the giveaway is very, very soon.
PS Stupid Formatting. For some reason, it won’t let some of the labels be centered. Grrr…
