My pointer finger and middle finger really capture what Ivanka’s all about. The color and pop is always ON. It never stops and it lasted for a good week. The *only* chipping I had was on my right hand’s index finger…and it’s only because I filed my nail down. Other than that, wear was excellent!
Sunlight washed it out and showed my deficiencies in nail polish application. 😀 Nonetheless, one color I’m going to get a back-up of because I get the feeling I’m going to be wearing this a lot during the summer – either on my toes or on my nails when I’m not swatching.
Please forgive the hangnails – this is my right hand that takes a lot of abuse. That said, it’s really pretty with topcoat.
I think I prefer this shade the way it’s meant to be – worn as a suede. Wonder what people will prefer if they buy this shade? What I like about Zoya is that the suede bottles are actually matte so you can find it pretty quickly in your collection if you put all your Zoyas together.
Zoya – Mimi – Summer 2010 collection – Sparkle
Wednesday, 14 April, 2010This shot best represents the true color of this polish. You can see the awesome flecks of gold glitter. Very subtle, but overall makes it’s such a beautiful color when worn.
The sun washes out the color a bit, but makes the glitter pop. It’s stunning, yes? YES.
I now present you with…
Perfectly Easter without being obnoxious. I love this color. The silvery shimmer running through it keeps it from being a plain old not-quite-pastel blue. Isn’t it just gorgeous? I love it.
Zoya – Charla – Sparkle Collection, Summer 2010
Friday, 2 April, 2010Boo over cast days! Did my best to get what I could, but the shade and overcast are frighteningly similar. Much as I loved this color, it’s not for me. I should’ve known better! However, I can still believe it’s a gorgeous, gorgeous color…just not on me.
Such prettiness. I think Zoya was able to do what OPI couldn’t – make a pretty matte that didn’t seem so dull and lifeless. Go on with your bad self, Zoya!
Now, something NOT green. 🙂
I spoke about Ginger & Liz, my new nail polish crush…and here is Trance.
I think it was supposed to be a holographic, but it’s not showing up here. In person…it is some serious wow factor. Definitely one of my faves! I have a few more bottles from Ginger & Liz and I’ve a feeling I’m going to be loving every single one of them.
