Chanel Mysterious is part of their Fall 2013 collection called Superstition. I’m a bit surprised by this because it is a bit mysterious…and pretty. It’s a deep olive green creme that I like. I would say it’s akin to Nein! Nein! Nein! Ok Fine! (you can google this color for the brand name), but I won’t know until I do a side by side comparison.
I like colors like this – you don’t know if it’s one color or another. I like that it appears charcoal gray, but in others it’s almost black. Super duper pretty.
Formula rocked it. It was opaque in one medium thin coat and the second coat was just gravy. It smoothed out the small imperfections and just improved the overall beauty of this polish. It’s no secret that I love cremes and this reinforces my love of them.
Just a note: I’m using a new camera so please bear with me – I’m trying to get things right. So if you notice things wrong with pictures, just know I’m still in my learning phase of my camera. If you’re interested, I use a point and shoot because DSLR scares me – it’s too grown up for my taste.
This is my new camera: Fujifilm FinePix F900EXR
This is my old camera: Canon PowerShot G10

Well hello super dark, sexy and mysterious…
The flash brought out the olive green tone in the bottle and the grayness on the nail.
You can see the olive green and the grayness all at once in this shot.
Overall, I like this color, but it’s something I’ve already seen before. Would you agree with my assessment? Plus, at a price tag of $27, it’s a hefty dupe to have in your collection.
