Essie – It’s Genius

Monday, 7 March, 2011

I have had this color forever. Like almost two years before I even swatched it. I’m not quite sure why I sat on it for so long, but it seems I’ve got other colors I’ve yet to do as well…and they’re Essie colors to boot! What the heck?

Peanut Butter Sin Friday!

Friday, 4 March, 2011

Jealous much? I made these cookies for Mr Carinae’s office on Friday and they’re called Peanut Butter Sin. It’s all peanut butter with some chocolate thrown in for good measure.

Don’t hate! I even threw in the recipe for you to download at the end of this post!

Tiny Moan…

Tuesday, 1 March, 2011

I’m quite irritated. I had www.carinaeletoile.com back at wordpress.com. Then I moved it here to wordpress.org.

I guess I’m really upset with the fact that I lost my site hits in the re-direct. Before I did a wordpress.com to wordpress.org re-direct, I had 53,000 unique hits on my site in the past year. While I know it’s not anything spectacular for some people, it really did mean a bit to me. Now I have to restart…from zero.

Oh well. I hope I get a lot of visitors this year.

Mr. Carinae and I are firm believers in the Karen Walker School of Thinking: Drinking during the holidays. So amateur.

However, just because we don’t go drinking on that particular day, it doesn’t mean we don’t enjoy the festivities that go on. I’m very early on these, but I wanted a little green on my Tuesday before I jaunt off to yoga class.
