I honestly can’t believe I’ve had Rescue Beauty Lounge GOMM and I haven’t even posted the swatches. I shall remedy that right now!
Fortissimo, Piú Mosso, Pizzicato and Poco à Poco – These four colors make up the new collection Rescue Beauty Lounge Firebird…
I purchased this color when it was about to be discontinued and there was a special sale for select colors to encourage purchasing. Of course I fell for it. I’m easily swayed by 50% off nail polish or 10 for $30. I fully admit it.
I have a lot of polishes. I sometimes think when I buy (or fail to buy) colors, “I’ve got this at home.” Then I don’t…or do.
The main focus of this post is Zoya’s Jules.
I had to do a comparison. Can you blame me?
When I put on Iconoclast, I had flashbacks of Black Satin nightmares. You know what I’m talking about – people selling bottles of this on eBay for exorbitant prices. Little did you know that waiting a few years down the line would yield a version of it with better shimmer and a better formula. Sometimes it pays to wait.
Come on over and see what I’m blabbing about today…The sun came out and is still out, so I’m going to make this brief because I want to get some swatching in before the rain starts in again!
Oh, Ji. What have you done? Really, girlfriend. What have you done? Just when I thought my nail polish obsession was waning, you come out with this collection that just stokes the fire and makes it burn even more.
What am I talking about? Why, Rescue Beauty Lounge‘s Iconic/Ironic collection. I swatched Insouciant and Decorous yesterday and today I offer Recherché and Iconoclast.
It’s Saturday. It’s raining. But this collection from Rescue Beauty Lounge
came in on Friday and sent me into a tizzy. I was only able to swatch two of the colors. I discovered I couldn’t wait until Monday to do an all four colors post…so you’ll have to settle for two on this rainy Saturday. Well, it’s raining here in California. Not sure about the rest of you, but I hope you have sunshine and rainbows. Oh, and satchels of gold. (if you get that reference, thank you.)
You must have a sixth sense when it comes to payday for me…You timed this email perfectly so it landed in my inbox on a Monday and payday was this past Friday. It’s happened with several pre-orders, come to think of it…
Cheeky, crafty girl. I ordered mine.
Hope the rest of you girlies do, too!
